Most moulds need 24-48 hours of moisture to start growing. Therefore, if the right material is damp in your home for more than 24 hours, then you are at risk of mould starting to grow. - It is important to avoid water gathering in the corners as far as possible.
This encourages mould growth. Dry the corners and joints with a cloth to avoid settled water, especially if there is poor ventilation - It affects the drain area in the bathtub or the shower.
