How to keep a home with a baby clean and tidy

Did you know that babies are more likely to get infections from surfaces than from contaminated food?

When there are babies at home, a good home disinfection is essential to prevent diseases and infections. Do you want to know how to keep the house clean with a baby?

We indicate the 10 areas that you should clean better with a baby at home:

1. The floor.
Especially if the baby crawls.
– Take off your shoes before entering the house.
– Vacuum the floor or the carpets regularly, although if you can it is better to air them.
– Make sure the floor in your home is properly sanitised so your baby can crawl without fear. Use Floor & Surface Disinfectant Cleaner – Eucalyptus, which is suitable for even the most delicate floors.

2. Toys.
Use the Multi-Purpose Disinfectant – Eucalyptus for hard toys and Laundry Disinfectant – White Flowers for washable toys (soft toys). Pay special attention to bath toys.

3. The changer.
Not only at home but especially when you go out, for this you have Multi-Purpose Disinfectant Wipes – Eucalyptus. You can always carry them in the changing bag.

4. The high chair or baby seat.

5. The area where you prepare food.
Like the countertop or cutting boards, to avoid cross contamination. To disinfect these
areas, we recommend that you always have Multi-Purpouse Disinfectant Kitchen on hand, as it kills 99.9% of germs such as E-coli or Salmonella.

6. Kitchen utensils.
Wash them every time you go to cut something.

7. Cloths and sponges.
Keep in mind that these can harbour many germs and are used to wash bottles and other kitchen utensils.

8. Kitchen textiles.
Change them daily and avoid cleaning the baby’s face with the kitchen towels if they are not clean before, since they are full of germs and we could pass them on.

9. Home linen.
Before the arrival of the baby, disinfect cushions, pillows, sofa covers or plaid, especially if they are going to be in direct contact with the area where we put the baby. It is very important that you air this house linen well and do not clean with the baby nearby. You cannot imagine the amount of germs that can be in babies’ clothes. Keep in mind that their clothes often end up stained by leaking pee or poop, or something as common as milk or food. These remains encourage the appearance of bacteria and their bad smell. To remove the smell from clothes and keep them clean, we recommend adding a dose of Laundry Disinfectant – White Flowers to each wash, both whites and colours. Also, since Sanytol does not contain bleach, you will not have to worry about the treatment that your baby’s delicate garments will receive.

10. Disinfection will go with you everywhere.
When your baby plays outside the house, it will be more difficult to avoid the presence of germs, but you can carry the Multi-Purpose Disinfectant Wipes – Eucalyptus in your baby’s stroller to rub them on the surface that will be in contact with your baby and thus reduce the chance of their being affected by bacteria.

Now you know how to keep the house clean for you and your baby.
